Create A Website....

 

There are many types of websites...  (including blogs, Bryan!  LOL)

 

So a first question is... What kind of website are you wanting to create?

 

  • 'Regular'... i.e., the brochure-looking way the web used to look... with static information that hardly ever changes.  How often would you go back to such a site?  No often, right?  So let's discourage building that type of site, ok?   But so you'll know about them, consider WHY they're often so static... Very likely it's because they're expensive or hard to maintain... and typically only the 'webmaster' is capable of updating stuff.  In other words, old websites are not very 'collaborative'.
  • Web2.0 types of sites... that is... collaborative sites.... typically free & easy to maintain.
    • 'Blogs'....
    • Podcasting sites...
    • Video sites...
    • Social-networking sites...

 

Now let's talk about Domain Names and why they're important to you.
