Alive, Incorporated: A charitable orgnization began in 2001, by co-founders, Maya and Tarik Glenn, for the purpose of "Teaching Kids To Make a Difference" in the greater Indianapolis community inclusive of the Mapleton-Fall Creek neighborhood and the scholars of Shortridge Middle School. D.R.E.A.M. Alive offers programming at Shortridge in the areas of Mentoring, Tutoring, and Community Service Learning Projects.
